ITHealth sponsors rising BMX star for 2024 UCI BMX World Championships

ITHealth, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions, is proud to announce its sponsorship of Elizabeth-Lola Poole, a talented young BMX racer, for the upcoming 2024 UCI BMX World Championships. The championship will be held on Friday 12th May to Saturday 18th May 2024 in Rock Hill, Carolina, US.

Manchester-born Elizabeth, aged 10 years, has shown remarkable talent and dedication in the sport of BMX. She started racing at a regional level in 2022 and quickly rose to prominence, finishing as the number 1 female in the North (9-year-old category) in her first season. During this season, she also completed in her first British Championships and finished 8th out of 28. In 2023, Elizabeth continued to excel and starting racing at National level, finishing 1st female in the North (10-year-old category), 7th in the National Series (10 races spread across the UK), and 2nd in the British Championships.

Elizabeth’s outstanding results in 2023 have earned her the opportunity to represent Great Britain at the 2024 UCI BMX World Championships. In addition to this prestigious event, Elizabeth may also compete in the European Championships in Verona, Italy.

A member of the Manchester BMX Club, Elizabeth has recently been invited to represent the Sorted Racegear Team in the Elite League of National racing.

Sponsorship from ITHealth will provide Elizabeth with the support she needs to continue her training and compete at the highest level, particularly with her participation at the forthcoming World Championships this year.

“We are thrilled to support Elizabeth as she pursues her dreams in BMX racing,” said Brett Draper, Managing Director of ITHealth. “Her dedication and talent are truly inspiring, and we are excited to see her compete on the world stage.”

Elizabeth’s training regimen is rigorous, with coaching sessions 2-3 times per week, further riding sessions 2-3 times per week, and age-specific strength, conditioning, and mobility work 1-2 times per week. (It’s exhausting just writing all that!) However, we’re pleased to say, Elizabeth ensures she gets some rest and recuperation time as well.

ITHealth is committed to supporting young athletes like Elizabeth, who demonstrate exceptional talent and dedication in their sport. We wish her the best of luck at the 2024 UCI BMX World Championships and beyond.
