At ITHealth, we are proud to continue our commitment to supporting both young sporting talent and impactful community initiatives in 2025. This year, we are once again sponsoring rising BMX star Elizabeth Lola-Poole, as well as the South Yorkshire Chaplaincy and Listening Service (SYCLS) – two causes that align with our values of dedication, resilience, and community support.
Elizabeth Lola-Poole: Aiming for BMX Glory
Manchester-born Elizabeth Lola-Poole, now aged 11, continues to make waves in the BMX world. Following an impressive 2024 season where she secured 2nd place in the BMX National Series, she is gearing up for an even bigger 2025. As the new season kicks off in April, she will be competing across the UK, striving for top podium finishes.
Building on her UK success, Elizabeth is also set to take her talent to the international stage, racing at the:
– European BMX Championships in Valmiera, Latvia (10 – 13 Jul)
– World BMX Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark (28 Jul – 03 Aug)
These prestigious events will mark a significant milestone in Elizabeth’s career as she competes against some of the best young riders in the world.
Sponsorship from ITHealth will provide Elizabeth with the support she needs to continue her training and remain competing at the highest level. With her unwavering dedication and our continued support, we’re excited to see what she achieves this year!
Supporting Community Wellbeing with SYCLS
Alongside our sporting sponsorship, ITHealth is welcoming a new sponsorship to its portfolio – our partnership with Sheffield-based South Yorkshire Chaplaincy and Listening Service (SYCLS). This invaluable organisation provides independent, confidential pastoral care and listening services to people from all walks of life, offering much-needed support in workplaces, schools, hospices, medical centres, and emergency services.
In 2024, SYCLS made a significant impact with:
– 4,242 Listening appointments delivered
– 1,741 Significant Conversations held by Chaplains
– 3,009 individuals directly supported
– Wider contact with 12,936 individuals through events and services
Our sponsorship helps SYCLS continue its crucial work, enabling trained chaplains and listeners to support individuals facing challenges such as end-of-life care, bereavement, cancer diagnoses/recovery, anxiety, work-related stress, and more.
We are especially proud that our very own Chris Booth, Head of Commercial Business and Strategy at ITHealth, serves as the Chair of Trustees at SYCLS, further strengthening our connection to this essential service.
Looking Ahead
At ITHealth, we believe in giving back – whether that’s helping an athlete chase their dreams or supporting a community service that makes a real difference. We’re excited to follow Elizabeth’s BMX journey and see the continued positive impact of SYCLS throughout the year.
