Software

Navigate to Data > Software >  Inventory.
Search or select the software title. Once found, select the software title.
Select the blue ‘Edit’ button > Global Approved State > Select from drop down > Save Changes.

Select the blue ‘Edit’ button > Version Approved State > Select from drop down > Save Changes.

Software normalisation and categorisation works behind the scenes of the ITHealth Dashboard. We roughly normalise 500,000 individual pieces of software and give a normalised name, which assists users with searching, troubleshooting and highlighting software at a high and comprehensive level.

Data > Software > Licencing

Data > Software > Licencing
Click the + icon at the top of the page. This will allow you to complete the blank template with information. Once finished, select ‘Create’.
Once created, search and select the newly created licence. Now you can link licencing information and enrich the basic data with more detail.

Data > Software > Licencing
Click the lightning bolt icon > select the type of licence that you want to identify within the ITHealth Dashboard.
Once selected > Create
This will search the auto-discovered software and you can now add and link licencing information and enrich the information discovered.

Cyber Alerts

Dashboard & Insights > Cyber Alerts
or
Cyber Security > Cyber Alerts

Within the insight page you can click and select Severity, Outstanding Status or Threat Type. As these are selected, the Cyber Alerts which fall into those categories filter automatically ready for you to select ‘View Filtered Cyber Alerts’.

Click under Severity the red High column and Status select the red Outstanding column.
Then select ‘View Filtered Cyber Alerts’.

Cyber Security > Cyber Alerts
All CCs will be listed in here with all columns. You can use the search box at the top of the screen to global search within the page, either by CC number or description.

Assets

Data > Assets > All Assets

An asset status can be changed from multiple locations, either from a data report or locally within an asset. All options will be detailed below:
1. Data report:
Data > All Assets – Select the desired assets you want to amend the status of by clicking the button to the left of the name. From the edit icon above > Select from the drop down ‘Assign Asset Status’:

2. Amend status from the asset summary itself:
Data > All Assets – Select asset or search
Within Asset Overview > Asset Markers – Select pencil edit icon to amend.

Data > All Assets
Select the show/hide columns button, located next to ‘select layout / report drop down’:

Here you can remove or add any field to build a custom report.
Once complete, select the pencil icon > ‘Save Layout As’ – this will allow for future use and will save within the report drop down.

Data > Asset Maintenance > Disabled & Disposed

There are multiple ways to identify the above, either from a data report or locally within an asset.
1. From a data report:
Data > All Assets

2. From an asset itself:
Data > All Assets > Search / select particular asset > Under Asset Overview

Data > Assets > Asset Blind Spot
Blind spot information will show for those data feeds which have been configured.

Release Notes

Under Configuration > Other > Release Notes
The top release version will be shown, with its release date.

Yes, under Configuration > Other > Release Notes
In the release notes section, you can scroll down previous versions and see detailed information.

Within the release notes section, you will see wording under each release header and version named ‘See detailed release notes here’.

System Configuration

Under Configuration > System Configuration – here you will be presented with the Users page. To add a user simply select the + icon and enter details accordingly.

Under Configuration > System Configuration > Roles
By selecting the + icon, you can create and build out your role with specific privileges applied.
If AD authentication is used for access to the ITHealth Dashboard, this is where you also add the security group name.

Once you have worked through the above with information required, select ‘Save Changes’.
This will now be present like below in the default view:

Next to the name of the created role are three dots ‘…’ > Select this once and select ‘Edit Role’
This will now allow you to work through the steps with regards to what permission and access you require.

Once you have worked through the above, select the ‘Save’ button.
If an AD security group was used during setup, anyone within that group can now login with their AD credentials and have that role permission applied.
If a local user, who was already created / had use of the ITHealth Dashboard previous to you creating this role, under Configuration > Users > Edit user, you can amend their role:

Yes, once the role has been created, you can select the three dots icon. This will allow you to select ‘Edit Role’, from here you will see a box for the AD security group name to be entered.

Configuration > System Configuration > Datafeeds

Tenants give you the ability to split data either via Domain, OU or IP location. This allows for a break-up of data for either permissions or reporting.

Configuration > System Configuration > Departments
Select ‘+’ icon and free type/paste department name.

Configuration > System Configuration > Organisations
Select ‘+’ icon and free type/paste department name.

Configuration > System Configuration > Lookup Values
There are categories which you can select and breakdown, from here you can add your own custom values where it says ‘New lookup’.

Asset Maintenance

Data > Asset Maintenance > Maintenance Rules
By default, this will load any rules if currently configured.

By default there are no rules created, though we have provided two templates for configuration and use:

To create an individual rule, click ‘Add New Rule’ and work through configuring the logical option to apply.

There are two templates available under Data > Asset Maintenance > Maintenance Rules. We would recommend using those as initial configuration guidance.

Configuration > System Configuration > Sub Status
Within here you will see sub statuses already configured for use. You can amend any of these by selecting the grey three dot icon, or you can manually create any item that is more specific for usage within your organisation by selecting the + icon and setting those sub-status options.

Data > Asset Maintenance > Asset Disposal Upload
Within here there is a download template which you can select and upload, to assist when bulk amending the disposal status of devices and auto-populating disposal information.
