ITHealth partners with Vectra for AI driven threat detection and response

ITHealth continuously strives to bring the most innovative technologies to NHS customers, and today we’re proud to announce our newly formed partnership with Vectra, the artificial intelligence (AI) driven threat detection and response leader.

With increasing threats gaining access through trusted applications, like Microsoft Office 365 and other third-parties, is it now time to consider Network Detection and Response (NDR)? For example, you may have 100% visibility of your assets, but could you identify attacker behaviour across your environment?

The Vectra Cognito® Threat Detection and Response Platform uses artificial intelligence to automate threat detections, empower threat hunters and provide visibility across entire deployments, so network defenders have real-time attack visibility and details to stop attacks anywhere inside the environment. By combining advanced machine learning models for any type of new and current threat scenario, Vectra efficiently finds hidden and unknown attackers before they have a chance to inflict damage. Covering 97% of the network techniques identified by the MITRE ATT&CK model, Vectra Cognito Detect is the fastest, most efficient way to find and stop cyberattacks in your environment – be it Cloud, On-prem, Data Centre or Medical IoT devices – all without the need for agents.

“Vectra fully integrates with Microsoft Defender ATP (as well as SIEM technology)”, said Andy Sheret, Head of Business Development at ITHealth. “So, it could help NHS IT teams to reduce and consolidate alerts to help focus on what requires priority attention and drive efficiencies within IT security, in much the same way that the ITHealth Assurance Dashboard does with assets.”

“We believe that this partnership offers real synergy with our Assurance Dashboard Solution to close gaps in a customer’s security environment and we are looking at integration opportunities for both solutions”, concluded Sheret.

ITHealth is excited by how this new partnership will offer its NHS customers increased visibility to detect, respond, hunt and investigate cyberthreats with greater efficiency and precision.
