BMS has tailored a McAfee NHS Encryption Tool Support Service, especially for those NHS Trusts which having implemented the McAfee NHS Encryption Tool and now wish to have a comprehensive support contract in place.
BMS is fully accredited by McAfee and Connecting for Health (CfH) to provide a full range of Scoping and Deployment services for the NHS Encryption Tool – the McAfee range of Endpoint Encryption, Device Control and the ePO management console which were chosen in the national procurement of an encryption solution in March 2008.
BMS is a leading provider of these McAfee services to the NHS. Since the national procurement BMS has carried out in excess of 500 days across over 90 NHS Trusts.
The standard McAfee NHS Encryption Tool Support Service for the NHS incorporates:-
The McAfee Support Service for the NHS is managed via the BMS support desk offering the standard service between the hours of 9:00 and 17:30 Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays.
Higher levels of support may be provided as part of a bespoke service, which can include a prescribed number of days on-site, extended hours and remote support from BMS using the corporate N3 connection.
The interoperability of IT security solutions is a vital aspect of the added value service provided by BMS for the NHS. Ensuring that different solutions from different vendors work together seamlessly is what BMS excels at. It has also become apparent that in order to manage full endpoint security in a cohesive manner, there may be a need to deploy collaborative solutions. BMS has established itself as an independent provider of such solutions in order to remove the pressure from Trusts of having to locate and approve technology to meet single needs and then seek clarification from different vendors as to interoperability.
